The project of establishing a system for the management and transformation of permanent geodetic network points (stalne točke geodetske osnove – STGO) was made for the State Geodetic Administration (SGA). The system consists of a spatial database of permanent geodetic network points and three web applications.
The INTRANET web application is used to maintain a database of permanent geodetic network points and is used exclusively by SGA employees for their usage.
The WEBSHOP web application is intended for registered external users, primarily chartered geodetic engineers. Using the application, they can search (using spatial and attribute queries) and view data for permanent geodetic network points. In addition, the WEBSHOP application offers the possibility of purchasing official position forms in accordance with the applicable regulations of the SGA.
The T7D WEB application is a web version of the official T7D desktop application for coordinate transformation in the Republic of Croatia. Also, OGC web services for data sharing (WMS, WFS, …) have been developed for the internal needs of the SGA.
